Autumn Fayre a great success!
On the 3rd of November we held our annual Autumn Fayre. This is the only event in the Church calendar where 100% of the money raised is used in our Church, the money will go towards the upkeep of the Church.
This year our theme was "All around the World" and as well as being decorated by bunting made from old maps and an outdated World atlas different stalls took the theme of a particular country. We had an American Diner theme for the café area - including a cowboy hat, Ireland for the bookstall with fantastic Shamrock decorations and Germany for the bottle game stall.
There were a variety of stalls including games such as identifying where the treasure was buried (the island was a very detailed drawing of Thailand), Tombola, Cakes, Cards, Raffle, Luxury gifts stall, Books and more.
Refreshments were also served throughout the day including Hot Dogs, Jacket Potatoes and a range of desserts.
A big thank you to Britvic and Everards for their generous donations.
Overall around £1000 was raised so thank you to those who attended and to the hard working stall holders.
