Easter at our Church

This year was a very different kind of Easter.

The most important time in the Church calendar and we were not allowed to meet. Nevertheless, services were still prepared and via YouTube, the communion service appeared like magic on the computer screen.

I know that many watched and took part along with me on Maundy Thursday. Good Friday focused on the death of Jesus on the cross while Easter Sunday was a celebration of the Risen Jesus.

On the Sunday, the sun shone brightly and the world is a better place because the Risen Lord is alive and with us forever.

We will all know Jesus is Alive in different ways but however we know, we need to do as Jesus tells us and tell the world about Him; be His hands, feet, voices and heart in this world of ours. This is the meaning of Easter and this is still our message today in lockdown.
