Women's World Day of Prayer 2021

The annual Women's World Day of Prayer is being observed on 5th March 2021.

This year it is the turn of WDP Vanuatu to prepare the worship resources as a basis for the services held around the world.

There is no live service local to Blaby this year due to the ongoing lockdown in the UK.

As the WDP England, Wales and Northern Ireland committee commented "The Day of Prayer this year will be different from any we have ever known. All over the world, people will be worshipping on the day as usual but in unusual ways."

Some areas have hosted their own online services using some of the materials prepared by WDP Vanuatu but

because our local committee has been unable to meet and plan a service as they usually would do we are sharing here a link to allow you to watch a video of the service prepared to celebrate the Women's World Day of Prayer.

The WDP International Committee commented “In the spirit of the 2021 WDP theme “Building on a Strong Foundation,” WDPIC are glad to share an additional resource for the annual observance. WDPIC recorded a video of the worship service led by WDP Vanuatu and the WDPIC Executive Committee with greetings from several committees”.
